Ballots topping 1,200

Early voting in the city election ended on Tuesday at 7 p.m. As of Monday, at 5 p.m., nearly 1,200 Cuero citizens had voted.

City of Cuero general election will be held Saturday, May 10, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residents of districts one (1), two (2), three (3), and four (4) will vote at 219 E. Main, Cuero Fire Station.

Three positions on Cuero City Council are facing election on May 10. They are Mayor and Councilmembers District 2 and 3.

Seeking to be Cuero's next mayor are W.T. “Tony” Allen and Randy Saenz.

David Ruiz and Keith Catron have filed for Councilman District 2.

ShaNon Henson and Brad Hedrick have filed for Councilman District 3.
