Peggie Schumacher

Cuero- Peggie Louise Schumacher, 72, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2008. She was born May 21, 1936, in Dreyer, Texas to Tom and Minerva Dreyer Castellow and Amelia Bennett Castellow. She married Marvin F. Schumacher on November 24, 1955, in Petersville. Mrs. Schumacher was a bookkeeper and an office manager.

She is survived by her loving husband: Marvin Schumacher, daughter: Sandra S. Anders and husband James of Cuero, son: Kenneth D. Schumacher and wife Jacque of Cuero, sisters: Pat DeLaurier of Austin, Lucille Clawson of Houston, and Margaret Thornton of Houston, brothers-in-law: Harvey Schumacher and wife Marie of Cuero and Harry Schumacher and wife Lilly Schumacher of Cuero, grandchildren: Matthew, Parker and Kendra Schumacher, Andrew Katzmark, Alexis Anders, Audrey Stone and Brady Anders.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Mark Thomas Schumacher, twin brother: Timothy H. Castellow, and brother: Charles R. Bennett.

Visitation was Tuesday, June 24, at 6 p.m., followed with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at Freund Funeral Home. Funeral mass was Wednesday, June 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church with Rev. Kirby Hlavaty officiating. Interment followed at Memory Gardens of Cuero.
