New animal shelter in operation

The new City of Cuero animal control shelter is in operation. The shelter is located on 1797 FM 766, past the Clarence N. Stevenson Unit. The shelter has four canines.
On March 1, Chief Jay Lewis was at the shelter putting together shelves so the shelter will be able to house felines.
