   Minerva M. “Sister Mary” Banda, 77, of Yorktown, died March 30, 2013.
   She was born Dec. 2, 1935 in Cleto, Karnes County, to the late Margarito and Frances Moreno.
   Sister Mary is survived by her children, John Albert Banda, Mary B. Moore, Santos Banda, Roy Banda, Nora B. Rosales; 18 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Luz Moreno, Julie Gonzales, Alice Salazar, Mary Nunley, Johnnie Moreno, Robert Moreno, George Moreno, and Betty Leanord; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many loving friends.
   She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Santos Banda; daughter, Linda Ann Banda; brothers, Trini Moreno, Joe Moreno, and Eli Moreno; sister, Augustina Moreno.
   Serving as pallbearers will be Eric Villarreal, Bryan Villarreal, Darrin Garcia, Mario Garcia, Marcus Garcia, and John Anthony Banda. Honorary pallbearers will be Lionel Garcia and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
   A visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery.
   Memorial donations may be made to the family.
