   What difference would five minutes response time have made to the youngsters at Newtown School in Connecticut last December?
   That was part of the motivation behind the development of a new network now in use by Cuero Police Department. 
   Reducing real-time response to emergencies at schools or calls for help by fellow officers is the goal.
   Police Chief Jay Lewis reports his department has joined COPsync 9-1-1 and is integrating the system with Cuero School District.
