3,300 pounds of food collected for CAMAL House

Dear Editor,
On behalf of the Cuero Area Ministerial Alliance, Inc. Emergency Center, I wish to thank the staff of the Cuero Post Office for collecting 3,300 pounds of food on May 11.
I wish to also thank all the wonderful residents of Cuero that donated food in this “Stamp Out Hunger!” Campaign.
CAMAL Emergency Center, which doesn’t discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin,, sex, age or disability in accordance with the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, will utilize the food collected by the Cuero Post Office to help feed the hungry in the Cuero area. Almost one out of every seven Cuero residents need our help. CAMAL is collecting 48 ounce containers of unopened cooking oil for distribution in June.
Once again, I wish to thank all of the Cuero residents for donating food on May 11 and I wish to thank all the people and organizations that have contributed food or money to CAMAL Emergency Center in the past. Your contributions to CAMAL have been and continue to be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Eric Longbotham
