City reviews library feasibility survey results

Library feasibility surveys from the City of Cuero were returned May 31. Assistant city manager John Washburn and library director Barbara Jacob reviewed the surveys. The results of the surveys were also presented to the Cuero Library Municipal board at the June 4 meeting.
“We’re very satisfied with the community input,” Jacob said. “The way results showed, what we feel is most important – a larger area for children and additional parking – is also important to those who responded too. The results of the surveys reflected our own goals.”
About 225 surveys were returned. Nineteen respondents said study rooms were not important, 50 said somewhat important, 83 said important and 55 said very important. Nine respondents said a larger area for a children’s program was not important, 31 respondents said somewhat important, 64 said important, and 104 said very important.
