Wildcats toppled by Tigers 28-7

Yorktown's Wildcats traveled to Goliad Friday and lost to the 2A school 28-7. In spite of 80 yards in penalties against the Tigers, the Cats could not stop Goliad's running game.

The Wildcat score came on a 45 yd. run by quarterback Jacob Garcia in the second quarter. Shown are Steven Perez (23) and Joe Ragusin (63) on defense.

Nixon-Smiley will be in Wildcat Stadium Friday for a 7:30 game. The 2A Mustangs are 1-1 with a win over Flatonia and a loss to Three Rivers.
