4-H members thank volunteers, supporters

Dear Editor:

During National 4-H week, Oct. 6-12, as well as all year long, DeWitt County 4-H’ers spend time organizing food and clothing drives, visiting nursing homes, doing chores for elderly, and many other ways to show their desire to make a difference to the people in our community.

We appreciate the opportunity further given to 4-H youth by working with the Cuero Pet Adoption Project and Turkeyfest celebration to increase our involvement with additional worthwhile community service.

Members of Pioneer 4-H Club want to say thank you to the many volunteers and supporters who help the DeWitt County 4-H youth with projects and activities all year long. We are part of an awesome community. We strive to deserve the co-operation and respect of others as we learn and grow “to make the best better” as we become future leaders and citizens of the community.

Sincerely,
Kensly Ley
Second Vice President
Pioneer 4-H Club
DeWitt County
