Anne Hairell Schlinke Surginer, 67, loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013 following a long illness.
She was born in Pilot Grove,Texas on June 28, 1946.She attended school in Sweet Home and graduated from Yoakum High School.She had been employed by AAE Leather Factory until her retirement in 2008.She had resided in Odem for the past six years.
She is survived by her husband, Acie Surginer of Odem; three sons, Michael Charles (Daffenie) Schlinke of Cuero, Joshua (Jenifer) Surginer of Sinton, and Rob Dubose of Corpus Christi; three daughters, Julie (Jeff Martinez) Schlinke of Yorktown, Cassandra (John) Cochran of Rivera, and Chrissy (Troy) Sample of Corpus Christi; two brothers, Oscar Charles (Katherine) Hairell of New Braunfels and Wilburn (Betty) Hairell of Yoakum; three sisters, Ruber Ford of Inez, Lanie Kopecky and Amye Schlinke of Pilot Grove,Texas; 22 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 with the family present from 6-8 p.m. at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Mayfield Baptist Church in Annaville, Texas. Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30 at Pilot Grove Cemetery in Yoakum. Interment will follow.
