Cuero ISD parents and family members are invited and encouraged to enjoy guest speaker Ruben Perez at the Victoria Community Center at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30. Perez will present a program titled, “Help! My Child Came Without an Owner’s Manual.” Parent/teacher/child relationships will be discussed and Perez will share parenting tips.
Ruben Perez of Houston has been an educator for 25 years. He has taught general education and English as a Second Language. He is an administrator with Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, serving in the areas of dropout intervention, staff development, and tutoring held at a Section 8 apartment complex. Ruben has also authored various educational articles, proclaiming his motto that “to be educated is to be liberated.”
Cuero ISD is offering free transportation to all Gobbler family members in school suburbans and will cover the cost of all fees. A free catered lunch will also be served.
