The First Presbyterian Church and First United Method Church have once again partnered to sponsor a pumpkin patch in Cuero. The patch is at the Presbyterian church courtyard. About 650 students from Cuero, Yorktown, Yoakum and Runge will tour the pumpkin patch through Oct. 31. Students also participated in games and storytime. Diane Westmoreland, church volunteer, said 1,248 large pumpkins were ordered for the patch. Each student was given a free small pumpkin before returning to school.
