Drug bust in Yorktown

According to news release from Yorktown Police Department, on Nov. 4 at approximately 8:55 p.m. officers with the Yorktown Police Department and the assistance of the Cuero Police Department S.W.A.T. Team executed a search warrant in the 100 Block of Strieber Alley in Yorktown.
An informant had given Yorktown Officers information that methamphetamines were being sold out of that residence. Justice of the Peace-Precinct 2, Bill Robinson issued a search warrant for the Yorktown officers to execute.
Officers entered the residence and detained three females. Two female Yorktown residents were arrested and identified as Trudy Mueller Schuenemann, 50, and Christie Lea Hicks, 39.
A third female was identified as Jennifer Machost Pesek, 35 of Port Lavaca. While resisting arrest she sustained an injury to her ankle and was transported to DeTar Hospital Navarro by Yorktown EMS. She will be arrested and charged after being released from the hospital
Officers searched the residence and found a quantity of drugs which tested positive for methamphetamines and several hundred dollars in cash.
The three females will be charged with possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver and organized criminal activity. Both are first degree felonies. Possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription is a Class A misdemeanor.
