GVEC breaks ground on 2 new centers

 

The Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative took a major step to keep pace with its growing membership in DeWitt County by breaking ground on its new Cuero Customer Service Center and Southern Operations Center in Cuero on Nov. 7. The groundbreaking for both facilities was held at the site of the new Customer Service Center at 1015 East Broadway in Cuero. The facilities are scheduled for completion in late 2014.
 
“By breaking ground on these facilities today, GVEC is taking an important step in expanding our services for our area members and the community as well as maximizing operational efficiencies,” said GVEC General Manager and CEO, Darren Schauer.
