James E. Wilson Jr. passed away Nov. 25, 2013 in Rapid City, S.D. He was 65-years-old.
 
He was born Dec. 9, 1947. He was employed from 1988 to 1993 at Gonzales Pioneer Village as a living history reenactor. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam Era.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Molly Wilson.
 
He is survived by his sons David House (Tracey) of Rapid City, S.D.; daughters, Amy Branton (James) of Austin; Julie Schatte (Benjamin) of Giddings; Mariah Schroeder (Charles) of Yorktown; sister Jeanne Parsons; grandchildren James House, Daniel and Avery Branton, MiKayla and Kyle Schatte; and J.D. Ty and Justin Schroeder.
 
A small, private, family memorial will be held at the Salty Cemetery in Thorndale, Texas following his cremation.
