Firefighter fascination 45 years later

There is a fascination with children and red fire trucks. Just watch the children as the fire trucks pass during a parade. Children will pump their little arms in the air in hopes to hear a resounding horn. The beacon lights are brightly colored flashing away into the horizon and then there is the occasional blaring of the siren. What is not to be fascinated about. It is enough to make any child imagine to be a firefighter. 
 
“When I was young I knew where the fire trucks were going, said Terry Lamprecht. “I always got up to watch them drive by.”
 
Terry had the advantage about where the fire truck was responding to.
