Alicia Mae Davenport Southard, 67, of Nordheim, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014.  She was born Aug. 5 1946 in New Rhodes, La. to the late Howard and Alice Landers Davenport. She worked with South Western Bell for over 30 years.
 
She is survived by sons Paul Harley Romans and wife Candy of Portland, Christopher Howard Romans and wife Valerie of Yorktown, daughter Stephanie Marie Bradley of Yorktown, sisters Beth Nelson and husband Bobby and Howard Anne Baumann and husband Paul both of Nordheim. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erika, Luke, Levi, Logan, Gabrielle, Vivian, Elijah, Haley, Emagen, Kaylee, Averie, Faith and Megan.
 
She is preceded in death by her parents, sister Norma Grace Durbin, brother Thomas Roddy Davenport, granddaughter Rachel Ann Romans and two infant brothers Rodney and Jimmy Davenport.
 
Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 at Massey Funeral Home. Funeral service was 10 a.m. Jan. 21 at Massey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nordheim Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Nelson, Shane Nelson, Ray Nixon, Matt Allmann, Steven Torrez, Doss Torrez, Grant Allmann and Jude Nixon. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan Romans, Luke Romans, Levi Romans Elijah Romans, Merrill Torrez.
 
Memorials may be given to Hospice of South Texas.
