Lady Gobblers tied for third in district

 

Martina Stavinoha certainly fueled the Lady Gobblers with 25 points and 14 rebounds in the away game against the Smithville Tigerettes on Jan. 28. The Lady Gobblers won 50-33.
 
The question now remains: Who will have the third seed to compete in the playoffs?  Both of these teams are tied for third place.
 
Cuero (4–4) will play Gonzales (0–8) and Smithville (4–4) will play Giddings (5–2) on Friday, Jan. 31. Giddings is in second place.

The Lady Gobblers will play their last home game Feb. 4 against La Grange.
