Permit question remains unanswered

 

“I’m sorry it has come to this,” said Melvin Chaloupka at DeWitt County Commission’s Court Monday morning. 
 
He was referring to a two-year request for the county to enforce septic system and flood plain permits in the River Haven sub-division along the Guadalupe River south of Cuero.
 
Chaloupka said his complaint is a result of property owners establishing recreational vehicle parks on their property in River Haven without obtaining proper permits.
 
He said he was required to meet the necessary requirements when he established his business in River Haven but others have not.
