Trustees consider location for new elementary school

Cuero School District trustees have taken the first step toward selecting a new location for Hunt Elementary. 
 
In a special meeting Wednesday, the board met with representatives of The Quarry, a residential development located behind Cuero Intermediate and Cuero Jr. High.
 
The district plans to build a new Hunt Elementary campus as part of the bond issue approved by voters last year. 
 
Quarry developer Charles Metcalf showed site plans and possible locations for the school. He also presented information about access and utilities.
