Jack Adcock Gobbler Relays held March 22

 

Cuero High School, along with the Cuero Booster Club, hosted the Jack Adcock Gobbler Relays on March 22 with some surprising results.
 
The Cuero varsity girls took third place overall.
 
Jocee Bennett and Alex Villafranca both spurred each other on in the 800m and 1600m run improving their personal best time. 
 
The 4x200m and 4x400m relay teams improved their personal best. 
 
The varsity boys had an unexpected injury in the 4x100m relay.  While finishing a strong second place, Triston Barefield pulled a hamstring 40 yards before the finish line. 
 
Khouri Walker competed in the high jump and did his best clearing 6’-4” placing him second in the meet.
 
Kamron Mathis improved his personal best in the triple jump just shy  of a full foot earning him second place.
