The Board of the Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum has announced the appointment of Cory Boemer as executive director of its institution. The move is an innovative effort to merge Boemer’s strong business leadership skills and knowledge of the arts to take the organization to the next level. The appointment follows an extensive, comprehensive search of highly qualified candidates.
“I am both privileged and honored to be named executive director by the board of the CTHM,” Boemer said. “The museum’s collections are without parallel, and I look forward to working with the board, its talented staff, CTHM members, community partners and stakeholders to build an outward-looking, welcoming institution capable of meeting today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.”
“Cory is coming to the post of executive director at a time when the board is keenly aware of the energy and vision that is necessary to lead our organization,” said Robert Oliver, chairman of the CTHM Board.
