Shannon Jacoby takes movie role as prison parolee

Francois Larosa, CEO of Starfield Productions brought his team of producers, writers and staff of cameramen, boom operators, and makeup artists in Yorktown for the filming trailer of Graveyard Shift 2014 on April 5 with locals dressing the part.

Several locals of Yorktown, Cuero, and Kenedy were selected to take part in the filming of the Graveyard Shift based on the Stephen King novel Night Shift.

Larosa said, “The extras were fantastic. They were troopers all the way around.”

Last week Larosa also found for his cast a local from Cuero to be part of the cast for the scene at the Yorktown Memorial Hospital.

He said, “When I went home I studied the pictures and Shannon Jacoby was selected to be one of the crew members. I really liked her look. She will portray a prison parolee that was desperate for work. I know she is so excited to be here and we are excited for her.”
