Many events planned at the Cuero Public Library this summer

The Cuero Public Library Summer Reading Program begins June 2 and ends in August. This year’s program is titled, “Fizz Boom Read.”
 
Registration for the program is offered June 2–30. Icentive coupons from local merchants will be offered for reading 100, 250, 500, 600, 750, 850, 1,000 and 1,250 pages.
 
Following are summer events at the library. The Chemistry Road Show program will be held Wednesday, June 11 at the Cuero Municipal Park Clubhouse. A Powerpoint presentation will be given by the Southwest Dairy Farmers on Wednesday, June 18. A cow will be at the event if it is not too hot. A safety program will be sponsored by Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative Wednesday, June 25. A program titled, Dinosaurs Rock, will be held Wednesday, July 2. Storyteller Mr. Kippy will be at the library Wednesday, July 9. The Texas Snake Man will be at the library Wednesday, July 16. Dr. Freeze (Les Blanchet) will be at the library Wednesday, July 23. Singing Zoologist Lucas Miller will be at the library Wednesday, July 30. Master Gardener Kathy Chilek will be at the library Wednesday, Aug. 6.
