Yorktown ISD board of trustees president Mark Weischwill was re-elected to his position at the helm at the school board meeting held May 19 in the junior high library.  Patti Harbers was elected as vice president while Danette Respondek was elected secretary.
 
Following a canvass of the election which was approved 6-0 by the board, Notary Public Teresa Borgfeld administered the oath of office to newly elected trustees Weischwill, Nelda Sertuche, Randy Franke and Danette Respondek.  Outgoing board member Mark Niemeier was presented a plaque in recognition of his service to the board.  
 
Trustees present for the meeting included Weischwill, Sertuche, Harbers, Franke, and Respondek, as well as Todd Metting and Barry Watson.  Outgoing board member Keary Perez was absent.
