Cuero students return to classes in just a little over three weeks.

Campus improvement projects are underway at all but two schools in the district.

Following last week’s CISD trustee meeting, Supt. Jim Haley gave a report on some of those projects.

At Cuero High School the first home game will be August 29. New stadium seating, restrooms and pressbox are under construction now. Those projects should be completed by that first game.

However, one of the final steps in the construction is completing the electrical connections to scoreboard and play clock. While work is scheduled to be completed in time for the first contest, it may be an issue for a scrimmage schedule here on Aug. 22.
