Meyer hired as CIS principal

Change is happening at Cuero Intermediate School. Construction is underway for $3 million worth of upgrades at the campus. Additionally, Richard Meyer was hired as the new principal.
 
“I’m excited to be here,” he said. “I’m ready to jump into the mix and have fun and work hard. As an elementary campus, I think we ought to be having some fun.”
 
Meyer’s predecessor Bill Hamilton was promoted as the district assistant superintendent of student services.
 
Before coming to Cuero, Meyer served as assistant principal for the Forney ISD at Crosby Elementary, Brown Middle School and Clayborn Elementary. He had been with the district since 2007.
