Wildcats in final scrimmage Friday

There was certainly low roars of support from the stands as the Yorktown Wildcats held their first scrimmage against the Bloomington Bobcats on Aug. 15 at the Wildcat stadium.

The Wildcat defensive line showed good strength and speed against their opponent while the offensive line showed promise of a force to be reckoned with.

With Caleb Lemke out with a broken leg, the Wildcats offensive backs stepped up their game with sound execution. It is anticipated that Lemke will return in time for Yorktown’s first district game.

The Yorktown Wildcats will scrimmage Agua Dulce on Aug. 22 there at 6 p.m.
