KCB receives Governor's Community Achievement Award

Cuero mayor Sara Post Meyer recognized Keep Cuero Beautiful at the regular city council meeting held Aug. 26 at City Hall. KCB received the Award of Excellence from the Keep Texas Beautiful Governor’s Community Achievement Award for programs held during 2013-2014 reaching over 750 people in the community. KCB, an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful for 28 years and a Gold Star Affiliate for the year 2013-2014, has been an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful for four years. KCB has a board of directors and many volunteers who have gave 1,143 hours during 2013 and over 500 hours in the 2014 to the community of Cuero through a variety of projects.
