"Shattered Dreams" successful with Cuero support

Dear Editor,
Cuero ISD has successfully completed another “Shattered Dreams” drama to teach the dangers of teen drinking and driving to the juniors and seniors at CHS. This drama was truly a team effort and would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and donations made by the community of Cuero.

City-wide revival planned April 25-27

Dear Editor,
My name is Suzanne Novak with the Tree Of Life Ministry. I moved to the Cuero area approximately three years ago. One thing that was brought to my attention is the fact that there are so many churches in this small of a town. Now the population of Cuero is roughly 6,898 and if each person attended church (regardless of denomination) then each church would have approximately 77.5 people for Sunday morning worship service. However, this is not true. My husband and I have visited several of the local churches in the Cuero area and have found that some churches struggle to fill the sanctuary not with the number of 77 but with even less.

Montez family thanks all for benefit dinner assistance

Dear Editor,
I prayed to God and asked for a miracle for my daughter, Amanda Montez. She has been diagnosed with stage four cancer. God has answered within His own plan as He alone knows the correct answer. His grace has been all the volunteers sent to my family to assist and carry some of the burden.
We cannot express or put into words of the gratitude that I have for all those individuals. Those, who out of kindness, love, caring and respect have come forward to work or provide some monetary assistance for my daughter.
Sincerely,
Amanda Montez, Denise Zinke and Mark Vavrusa
