Dear Editor,
Thank You to everyone that prayed for us, thought about us, and helped us in anyway during Grahm's hospital stay.  Grahm 's recovery has been exceeding the Doctor's expectations, but he still has a long way to go.  The continued support this community has given us has helped us to stay strong through this difficult journey.

EMT training offered

 

To the Yorktown Community:
Are you interested in getting involved in helping your community? Here’s the opportunity to take the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course being provided by Yorktown EMS and coordinated by Freddie Solis of Cuero EMS.
There will be an organizational meeting for those taking the classes on Jan. 6, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the EMS Building.  CPR classes will be held in January 2014 and the EMT classes will start in February. Classes will be held two nights a week.

We would like to thank Mr. Michael C. Weber Jr. for his dedication and hard work on the Cuero Heritage Museum’s newest addition, Gobbler Football Exhibit 1972–1975.  His countless volunteer hours and hard work do not go unnoticed. The family of Pearl White Nagel wishes to extend our deepest appreciation for all the thoughts, prayers, memorials, food, and cards sent during out time of loss.

Thanks for help with Sandy Gate

 

Dear Editor,
Would like to send out a big thank you to Sonny & Betty Seifert and family for the very generous donations to the Sandy Gate Cemetery Maintenance Fund. Also to Brenda Lincke Fisseler for her generous donations. Also have received several donations from the families of Edwin & Lydia Hengst.
