Whitlee Belle Kenne born June 5

Dustin and Kerry Kenne of Cuero are proud to announce the arrival of their daughter Whitlee Belle Kenne.  Whitlee was born June 5, 2013 at 9:04 a.m. at DeTar Women's and Children's Hospital in Victoria.  She weighed eight pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 inches long.  She was welcomed home by big sister Ally. Maternal great grandmother Abbie Rode of Cuero and maternal grandparents Janie and the late James Lott of Cuero.  Paternal great greatparents Clifton and Aileen Kenne of Yorktown and grandparents Sheldon and Mary Ann Kenne of Yorktown.

Kuecker, Bailiff married June 8

 

   Kaci Nicole Kuecker and James Lee Bailiff were united in marriage at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 8 at The Milestone in Denton. The ceremony was officiated by Sonny Gann. Music for the ceremony was provided by Laura Cummings. 
   The bride is the daughter of Wayne and Shirley Kuecker of Cuero. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Monnie Hengst of Cuero and Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Kuecker of Cuero. The groom is the son of Richard Bailiff of Banner Elk, N.C. and Chris Beaulieu of Nokomis, Fla. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Beaulieu of Nokomis, Fla., Mr. and Mrs. Jim Bailiff of Sarasota, Fla., and Ms. Fay Bailiff of Pittsburg, Penn.

Andrew Charles London born May 29

 

Kristopher and Anna London of Yorktown are proud to announce the birth of their son, Andrew Charles. Andrew was born at Citizens Medical Center, Victoria on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 1:31 p.m. He weighed seven pounds 10 ounces and was 20 inches long. Andrew is welcomed by his maternal grandparents Charles and Wanda Styra of Yorktown and paternal grandparents Karl and Rita London of Corpus Christi. Andrew’s maternal great grandparents are the late Edgar and Sonja Stratmann and the late Frank and Elsie Styra. His paternal great grandparents are JoMae London of Corpus Christi and the late Charles London and the late D. Hylon and Iris Vickers. Andrew’s aunt is Kandace London of Elgin.

McGlinchey, Mayer announce engagement

Myles Christopher Mayer and Nicole (Nikki) McGlinchey are pleased to announce their engagement. Nikki is the daughter of Doug and Cindy McGlinchey of Lakeland, Fla. Myles is the son of Jimmy and Peggy Mayer of Cuero. The couple will exchange vows Saturday, Sept. 21 at Manatee Riverhouse in Palmetto, Fla. Myles is a graduate of Cuero High School and works for the Florida Division of CCC Group Inc. as a project coordinator. Nikki is a graduate of Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in retail merchandising and product development and a master's of science in global merchandising and product development. She is an assistant merchant for White House Black Market in Fort Myers, Fla.

Fry receives doctorate

Jeff and Diana Lucas are pleased to announce the graduation of their daughter, Dr. Mindy Fry, from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio on May 25.  Mindy was awarded the degree, doctor of physical therapy, and will continue working as director of rehab at South Texas Therapy Associates in San Antonio.

Amanda Taylor graduated from University of Houston–Clear Lake on May 19 in Houston at the Reliant Stadium. Amanda received a bachelor of science in fitness and human performance. Amanda is a 2008 graduate of Cuero High School and is the daughter of Carlos and Abby Taylor of Cuero.

Johnson, Reese graduate Baylor

 

   WACO – Baylor University conferred degrees on over 2,200 graduates during spring commencement exercises May 17-18 in the Ferrell Center on the Baylor campus.
   Kaeron D. Johnson of Cuero received his bachelor of science degree in education, general studies. Emily Kay Reese of Cuero graduated summa cum laude and received her bachelor of business administration degree in marketing. She was in the Baylor Business Fellows program.
   Baylor University is a private Christian university and a nationally ranked liberal arts institution, classified by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching as a research university with high research activity.

Curry receives SFA doctorate

 

   Pat Curry graduated on May 11 with a doctorate in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University, earning a 4.0 grade point average. 
   She has a master’s degree in educational administration and supervision and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Houston, and a bachelor’s degree in educational curriculum and instruction from Texas A&M University. 
   Dr. Curry has worked as a director, principle, assistant principle, counselor, and secondary English teacher in Texas public schools. 
   She is the daughter of Roseann Jacob and the late Chuck Jacob of Cuero, and the granddaughter of Milton and Agnes Jacob of Cuero, Charles and Ann Tubbs of Cuero, and Kelsey Jones of Yoakum, all deceased.  She is married to David Curry, has two adult sons, and lives in Shepherd, Texas.

Jeremy and Lori Kneese of Nordheim are proud to announce the birth of their daughter, Gwen Elise Kneese. She was born on April 26. She weighed seven pounds and 10 ounces. Her grandparents are Howard and Janet Book of Victoria and Steven and Deborah Kneese of Yorktown. Her maternal great-grandparents are Joy Hoelscher and the late Fred Hoelscher of San Angelo and Mary Ann Book and the late Clarence Book of Rowena. Her paternal great-grandparents are Vera Kneese and the late Martin Kneese of Fredericksburg and Emil and Bernice Geffert and the late Wilfred Warwas of Yorktown.
