Johnny Ray Hess Sr.

 

   Johnny Ray Hess Sr., 49, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. 
   He was born June 29, 1964 in Cuero to Vernon and Dovie Hess. He had a passion for working on racecars.
   He is survived by his mother, daughters, Crystal Jones of Goliad and Kelly Clark of Cuero; sons, Johnny Hess Jr. and Robert Knesek both of San Antonio; sister, Dee Hess Hall of Cuero; brothers, Mike Hess and wife, Deb, of Cuero, Rick Hess and wife, Jackie, of Baytown and Jeff Hess of Austin; grandchildren, Jackson Jones, Rylee Jones and Emma Rangel.
   He was preceded in death by his father, and brothers, Terry Hess and Jerry Hess.
   A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

   Ramona G. Tucker, 65, of Cuero, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2013. 
   She was born in Alberquerque, N.M. on Aug. 3, 1947. She was an American Indian and was a member of the Laguna Tribe. She worked in the nursing home industry.
   She is survived by  her husband of 30 years, Leon Tucker, of Cuero; a son, Mark Wayne Johnson, of Cuero; five grandchildren; and two god children.
   A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Linzy Craig Eaton

 

   Linzy Craig Eaton, 65, of Meyersville passed away on June 25, 2013.
   Linzy Craig Eaton was born on Nov. 22, 1947 in Phoenix to Linzy and Dorothy Eaton.
   Linzy is survived by his son Linzy Damon Eaton, daughter Heather Wendel (Don) of Meyersville, granddaughter Harley Eaton, grandsons Linzy Drey Eaton and Chance Sanders and Seth Wendel, all of Cuero. He is also survived by his sister Eve Lee of Tuscon.
   Linzy served two tours in Vietnam and worked many years in Las Vegas in various supervisory positions in construction before moving to Texas to be near family. Linzy will be missed by all including his longtime friend Debbie Sanders and crew.
   A party will be held at a later date.
