Blanche “Bebe” Breeden Benson, 83, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at her home in Hawaii, surrounded by family.
She was born July 29, 1929 in Cuero to the late Fielding and Jane Breeden of Cuero. Bebe moved to Hawaii in 1967, where she resided for 46 years. She was a former school teacher both in Texas and Hawaii.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Benson, and son, Guy, also her brother, Fielding Breeden Jr. Bebe is survived by four children: Blanche (Robin) Yoshida, Elizabeth (Phil) Soon, Rebecca (David) Jay, and Fielding Benson, all whom reside in Hawaii. She has 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on May 28 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Wahiawa, Hawaii, followed by burial at Schofield Cemetery.
