The Cuero Varsity and JV cross country team continue to show improvement in their time and it is starting to pay off.
“Our Gobblers had another great weekend (Sept. 13) at Moulton. They are improving week by week and their hard work has payoff,” cross country coach Roberto Granados said. “We can still get much better as a team. We will continue to work hard.”
Varsity girls: Placing 3rd, Dixie Blackwell, 14.04; placing 5th, Jocee Bennett, 14.20; placing 6th, Alexandra Villafranca, 14.26; placing 22nd, Dana Mican, 17.48.
Varsity boys: Placing 2nd, Ben Villarreal, 18.34.
