Friends of Cuero Softball Tourney this Sat.

On January, 16 2010, the “Friends of Cuero Girls Softball” will once again host a preseason softball tournament. Last years tournament had seven teams entered. Many athletes and their families visited Cuero for this event. This years event hopes to be as much of a success as last years tournament.
The “Friends of Cuero Girls Softball” is seeking donations from the community to help make this years tournament a overwhelming success. As in years past, this event woudl not be possible without the continued support of the community. All proceeds will be donated to Cuero High School’s softball program. Last years event was able to generate $1,300 to go towards new uniforms and much needed equipment.
This season, the softball program will have a new head softball coach, Amanda Ulcak, as well as a new assistant coach, Casey Harryman.
Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated.
