Three graduates in one home


Robert and Norma (Schroeder) Schendel of Yorktown turned the hat trick as all three of their children graduated this year. 
Their daughter Claire Arlene Schendel graduated from Baylor University Graduate School on May 16 with a Master of Arts in Biology Specializing in Health Professions. She will be attending the University of North Carolina Eshelman School of Pharmacy this fall.
Cody Robert Schendel graduated the next day, May 17, with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi College of Science and Engineering. He will be an algebra teacher and coach at Corpus Christi Carroll High School this fall.
Caleb Justin Schendel graduated from Yorktown High School on June 6. He was named “Wildcat of the Year” and elected as Prom King. He will be attending Baylor University this fall, with the intention of majoring in Mechanical Engineering.
Claire, Cody and Caleb are the grandchildren of Clydelle (Jacob) Schroeder of Yorktown, and Justyne (Mixon) Cox of San Marcos.
