Fatima Rally held in park

On Saturday, Oct. 14, a Fatima Rosary Rally was held in the Yorktown Park. Organized by Gloria Seifert, many attended to pray the rosary for peace.
The Rally falls just one day after the 100th anniversary of the sixth and most famous apparition of Our Lady of Fatima in fatima, Portugal. Beginning in the spring of 1917, three children reported seeing apparitions of the Virgin Mary. On October 13, 1917, a crowd estimated between 30,000 and 100,000 gathered due to a prophecy that the Virgin Mary would appear and perform miracles. Many in attendance reported seeing the sun careen towards the Earth and emit multi-colored lights before returning to its normal position in the sky.
In recent years, Fatima Rosary Rallies have spread worldwide as believers come together to pray the rosary for peace in the world and for the conversion of all people on Earth. In 2017, there were over 21,000 Fatima Rosary Rallies held in locations around the country.
