Gee is gone

This past week, it became known that as of December, Yorktown ISD Superintendent Chad Gee would no long be overseeing the Yorktown school district. Gee, hired in August of 2016, has been selected as the finalist for a similar position at the Kennedale school district in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“Mr. Clark and I had a great visit with Mr. Gee and the Yorktown community, including current board members, teachers and administrators,” said Michael Strange of the Kennedale ISD School Board. “I wanted to hear from those that work closely with Mr. Gee these past three years. I can say confidently from the testimonials of the Yorktown community and walking the campuses comfirms for me that Mr. Gee will be able to listen to our stakeholders and carry out the vision for our students.”
