Indictment roundup, 10 arrested

During the early afternoon hours of July 11, DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office served indictments that were issued as a result of a six-month long investigation into the sale and distribution of narcotics within DeWitt County. 

Ten people were taken into custody as a result of this operation with more arrests expected. Along with those taken into custody DeWitt County, deputies also seized 3.55 grams of methamphetamines, 5.28 ounces of marijuana and $288 in currency. 

“This operation was conducted all over DeWitt County during the past six months,” DeWitt County Sheriff Carl Bowen stated. “This is just another example of the diligence and professionalism that is being exercised by the men and women of law enforcement and our community partners working together. I expect the remaining individuals will be taken into custody and brought to justice very shortly.”

Jeffery Trusty, 36, was charged with the manufacture/delivery CS Penalty Group (PG)1, drug free zone, 3rd degree felony, $30,000.

Pamela Swain, 38, was charged with the delivery of marijuana, five pounds or less but more than one-fourth ounces, a state felony, $30,000.

Jose Mendez, 21, was charged with possession with intent to deliver a simulated controlled substance, $30,000.

Jeremy Matejek, 23, was charged with the manufacture/delivery CS PG1, drug free zone, $30,000; manufacture/delivery CS PG, drug free zone, $30,000; manufacture/delivery CS PG 2A, drug free zone, $30,000.

Glenn Miesan, 60, was charged with the manufacture/delivery CS, drug free zone, $30,000; possession of marijuana in a drug free zone, a state felony, $10,000; possession of a substance in PG1 in a drug free zone, 3rd degree felony, $20,000; possession of drug paraphernalia, Class C Misdemeanor, $419.

Logan Rechterman, 31, was charged with two counts of the manufacture/delivery of substance in PG 2A, drug free zone, 2nd degree felonies, $60,000.

Tommy Lucas, 27, was charged with the manufacture/delivery of a substance in PG1, 3rd degree felony, $10,000; manufacture/delivery of a substance in PG1, a state jail felony, $10,000.

Guadalupe Pinon, 24, was charged with the manufacture/delivery of a substance in PG1, drug free zone, 1st degree felony, $30,000.

Phillip Nolan Walker, 44, was charged with the manufacture/delivery of a substance in PG1, drug free zone, 2nd degree felony, $30,000; manufacture/delivery of substance in PG1, drug free zone, a state jail felony, $30,000.

Demetrias Flores, 22, was charged with two counts of the manufacture/delivery of a substance in PG1, drug free zone, $60,000.
