Plans were unveiled to the council and public on Monday, Oct. 11, for revitalization and expansion of the RV park at 1610 N. Terrell in Cuero.

Owners were requesting a zoning change from Residential General, to Commercial General, in order to allow for the many levels of improvements they have planned.

The first phase of the plan will see the existing park completely redesigned, with the addition of a pool.

Owners also addressed the park’s problematic past, by enforcing a zero-tolerance policy on drugs. The goal is to make the facility completely family-friendly. Additionally, the park will be completely fenced and gated.

Phase two of the plans will include the building of a family restaurant and playground area.
