Sharon Adams, 70, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2021. She was born May 25, 1951 in Cuero to Lloyd and Lillian (Munson) Williams.
Sharon graduated from Yoakum High School and went to work for DeWitt County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher. She then went to work for Cuero Police Department as the Police Chief’s secretary for the next 27 years until her retirement in 2019. The City of Cuero recognized her with the Ray C. Rodriguez Award for her dedicated years of service.
Survivors are her daughters, Laura Belcik and husband Collin and Michele DeBault and husband Carl; son, Charles Ray Adams and wife Basillia; grandchildren, Ashlyn Richter (Mason), Ross DeBault, Dylan Belcik, Jadyn Belcik, Bryson Belcik, Travis DeBault, Christian Axel, Felicia Garza, and Alicia Garza; great-grandchildren, Blake, Holdyn and Hallie Guettner; sisters, Terry Davis and Loene Wegener (Rudy) and brother, Dwight Williams (Roberta), all of Yoakum.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Darrell Adams in 2011.
Visitation 1 to 3 p.m., Friday, Nov. 5, 2021 with Funeral Service at 3 p.m. with Pastor Hollas Hoffman officiating. Her DeWitt County Police Dept. Brotherhood will escort her to burial at Alexander Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Shane Flessner, Mason Guettner, Travis DeBault, Dylan Belcik, Christian Axel, Jadyn Belcik, Bryson Belcik. and Ross DeBault.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dwight and Roberta Williams, Larry and Diane Zaruba, Gordon and Betty Flessner, Alicia Garza, Felicia Garza, Blake, Holdyn and Hallie Guettner.
