Kitty Kats fall prey to Eagles

While the football teams were warming up, the Kitty Kats and Lady Eagles were busy slugging it out on the volleyball courts.

Sadly, the Kitty Kats would not fare as well as the football team. The Woodsboro Lady Eagles would come out victorious in three sets with scores of 25-17, 25-12, and 25-13. The Junior Varsity also fell victim to Woodsboro that evening.

The Kitty Kats had been on a roll as of late, with a win over Kenedy on Sept. 22, and another over Nordheim on the 26th.

Coming up, the Kitty Kats will be facing Runge, Pettus and Woodsboro as volleyball season gets ever closer to its finale. Yorktown will surely be looking to finish the season on a high note as they push to win every set.
