Kitty Kats keep perfect record

After an open date on Tuesday, Jan. 12 of last week, the Yorktown Kitty Kats played district games on Friday and Saturday, winning both to remain undefeated on the season at 16-0, and undefeated at 7-0 in District 31-2A. Yorktown is in first place, followed by Three Rivers, Port Aransas, Refugio, Pettus, Woodsboro, and Kenedy.

On Friday, Jan. 15, the Kitty Kats traveled to Refugio to face off against an aggressive Lady Cats team. The Kitty Kat defense was tough, as Refugio only scored two points in the first quarter, while Yorktown, behind six points by junior Seely Metting, had 10.
