Wildcats get win against Eagles

It was a dark and stormy night... at Woodsboro’s Eagle Stadium. And the Wildcats had come to win. And win they did. This was also Woodsboro first home game since Hurricane Harvey. The damage to the stadium was evident, as the play clocks were missing, and the scoreboard was a temporary board held aloft on the end of a large forklift.
Although the stands reflected the wet and dreary weather, the play on the field was hot and fast. The Wildcats traveled south to visit the Woodsboro Eagles at home. While the initial kickoff and several plays were subject to a light and lessening rain, the majority of the game was rainfree. The field and the ball would remain slick throughout the night.
